The Minnesota Twins turned a close game into a runaway at Target Field, defeating the Detroit Tigers 11-1 behind Ryan Jeffers' two-homer, four-RBI performance and seven dominant innings from Taj Bradley. Minnesota scored in six different innings, including three-run bursts in the fifth and sixth that broke the game open. Bradley allowed Detroit little room to operate, striking out nine and handing a 10-run lead to a rested bullpen. The result moved Minnesota to 66-72 and dropped Detroit to 63-74.

Jeffers supplied the decisive damage from the cleanup spot, going 2-for-3 with two home runs and two runs scored. His four RBIs accounted for more than a third of Minnesota's total and turned productive innings into separation. Kody Clemens and Walker Jenkins also went deep, each finishing with two RBIs, while Brooks Lee added three RBIs despite collecting one hit in five at-bats. Minnesota's offense scored once in the first, once in the fourth, three times in the fifth, three times in the sixth and twice in the eighth, giving Detroit no sustained path back into the game.

Bradley controlled the matchup with swing-and-miss stuff, recording nine strikeouts over 7.0 innings. His length mattered as much as his strikeout total: he carried the game through the seventh and kept Minnesota from needing a heavy bullpen workload. Tommy Nance followed with two scoreless innings and two strikeouts. Detroit's Jackson Jobe mixed his pitches effectively and struck out four over five innings, but Minnesota scored four earned runs against him and kept pressure on the Tigers' pitching staff. Hao-Yu Lee provided Detroit's lone offensive highlight with a 2-for-3 game that included a solo home run, but the Tigers were held to one run overall.

Minnesota's victory was built on the formula it needs to sustain: a starter working deep, a clean late-game bridge and enough power to punish mistakes throughout the lineup. Detroit leaves with a sharper concern, as Jobe's competitive outing could not offset an offense that produced only one run while the Twins kept adding pressure. The Twins take the momentum and the series edge from a game that was effectively settled by the middle innings.
