Brent Suter covered 2.1 innings with one strikeout, while Didier Fuentes retired the side over a scoreless inning with two strikeouts to protect the one-run lead. Atlanta’s pitching staff kept Colorado off the board in the seventh, eighth and ninth innings, completing the comeback without allowing another scoring chance to alter the result.

The victory moved Atlanta to 81-55 and reinforced the value of its late-inning execution in a game decided by one swing of the scoring ledger. Colorado fell to 52-84 despite taking a lead into the late stages, and its inability to convert early control into insurance remains the defining issue from this loss.
