Bryce Eldridge Drives Four Runs as Giants Pull Away from Diamondbacks, 7-2

San Francisco turned a one-run game into a decisive win with three runs in the fifth and two more in the eighth at Oracle Park.

Final: Arizona Diamondbacks 2 — 7 San Francisco Giants

Bryce Eldridge went 4-for-5 with four RBI, powering the San Francisco Giants to a 7-2 victory over the Arizona Diamondbacks at Oracle Park. The Giants scored first, absorbed Arizona's brief response in the third inning, then created separation with three runs in the fifth and a two-run eighth. San Francisco's win moved it to 56-81, while Arizona fell to 73-65.

Eldridge supplied the game's defining production from the middle of the order, collecting a hit in four of his five at-bats and driving in four of San Francisco's seven runs. Rafael Devers added two hits and two RBI, giving the Giants another reliable presence with runners on base, while Jonah Cox scored one of the club's runs. San Francisco's offense scored in four separate innings and never allowed Arizona's isolated runs in the third and seventh to alter the game's direction.

Yunior Marte opened the game with 4.2 innings and three strikeouts, keeping Arizona from building sustained traffic and handing the Giants a workable foundation. Mitch Bratt worked 4.1 innings for Arizona with two strikeouts, but the Giants broke through for three runs in the fifth after the game had remained within one run. Carson Seymour followed with 1.1 innings and two strikeouts, and Dylan Smith added a scoreless inning with two more strikeouts as San Francisco closed out the five-run victory without surrendering a late rally.

The result gives San Francisco a complete home performance: timely middle-order hitting, enough length from Marte, and a clean finish from the bullpen. Arizona returns to the next game needing more than isolated scoring from its lineup; the Diamondbacks must prevent innings such as the fifth and eighth from turning a competitive margin into a runaway. Eldridge's four-RBI night is the standard San Francisco will look to carry forward.
